Expanding publisher seeks third editorial team for US-focused commercial fiction
Since being acquired by Hachette in March 2017, Bookouture has continued to invest in growing the team, with the total number of staff doubling to 25 between 2017 and 2018. Most are based in the Bookouture head office at King's Cross, though a number work from home.
The new publishing team will publish commercial fiction, though it will be tasked with diversifying the list, with a particular focus on the US market. Bookouture is recruiting now for a publishing director to lead the new team.

Bookouture’s sales reached a record 8.5 million copies in 2018, a figure that includes paperback sales in partnership with Little, Brown Book Group’s Sphere imprint in the UK and Grand Central Publishing in the US. This marks a sixth consecutive year of growth for the digital first imprint, with total sales at over 23 million.
