Harper, Bluebird and DK win awards for best marketing campaigns

The Book Marketing Society announced the winners of this quarter's BMS Awards on 22 May at a members' meeting. The winners of awards for best campaigns in January-March 2019 are as follows:

Adult Fiction
Winner - Sarah Shea and Katy Blott at Harper Fiction for The Binding by Bridget Collins
Highly commended - Katie Hall at Faber Books for Lanny by Max Porter

Non fiction
Winner - Don Shanahan, Andy Joannou and Jodie Mullish at Bluebird for Pinch of Nom by Kate Allinson and Kay Featherstone
Highly commended - Jamie Elby at Dorling Kindersley for Marvel Fierce and Fantastic by Ruth Amos, Emma Grange and Sam Maggs

Best Debut Campaign
Winner - Steven Dumughn, Felice McKeown and Sahina Bibi at Zaffre Books for The Familiars by Stacey Halls
Highly commended - Amy Davies at Orion for The Silent Partner by Alex Michaelides

Guerrilla Campaign
Winner - Janet Aspey and Hannah Sawyer at HQ Stories for How To Clean Your House by Lynsey Crombie
Highly commended - Flora Willis at Profile Books for Chasing The Sun by Linda Geddes

Young Adult
Winner - Naomi Berwin and Natasha Whearity at Hachette Children's for King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo
Highly commended - Emily Moran at Bloomsbury for A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
