According to Hachette, 'The series is set in a secret world full of magic, unicorns and friendship. When Aisha moves to a new house, she discovers a world where spellbinding secrets are hidden in every corner. Soon Aisha is whisked away to a magical faraway realm where she meets the unicorns of Enchanted Valley.'

The series launches with two titles, Unicorn Magic: Dawnblaze Saves Summer and Unicorn Magic: Shimmerbreeze & the Sky Spell which will publish on June 13, another two titles will follow in August with a further eight titles coming in 2020. There are currently 16 titles scheduled in the series with at least one new title due to be released every 2-3 months as well as a bumper length special title publishing in October. The series will also be supported with a brand-new website www.unicornmagicbooks.co.uk.

Publishing director at Orchard Books, Megan Larkin said: "Hachette are the number 1 publisher of young series fiction, so we see first-hand just how crucial these books are to a child’s reading journey. They help readers progress from decoding words and move into independent reading – which can be the start of a lifetime of reading for pleasure.

"We’ve worked on the globally bestselling and evergreen brands Rainbow Magic and Beast Quest for over 10 years and we’re proud to bring something new to the market with Unicorn Magic. Like its predecessors we will ensure it is curated with passion, creativity and innovation. We know there are legions of unicorn fans out there who might be enticed into reading alone for the first time with this fun, magical series.”

Daisy Meadows’ previous series Rainbow Magic and Magic Animal Friends have sold over 30 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 32 languages.
