Are you a publicist looking for a new challenge? Are your campaigns known for their creativity and innovation? Do you know how to get people talking?
We have an exciting opportunity for a publicist to join our award-winning publicity team at Cornerstone, and if you enjoy reading broadly and working with variety, this could be the perfect job for you.
We're looking for a proactive and extremely well-organised Senior Press Officer to work across our lists. You'll be responsible for planning and managing creative and innovative campaigns that reach their target audience, on and offline. You'll be used to liaising across multiple stake-holders internally and externally including editorial, publicity and sales teams as well as with authors, agents and licensors. You'll be able to devise and organise show-stopping, sales-driving events, signings and festival experiences.
Your day-to-day will also include placing interviews, features and reviews for your titles, and maintaining strong media contacts across print, online and broadcast. You'll work with journalists, bloggers, bookshops, venues and festivals, as well as taking care of our authors and agents.
You'll be a confident communicator, enthusiastic about presenting your ideas and representing the team both internally and externally. You'll be adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines and prioritising your time effectively in a busy environment.
If this sounds like you, apply with a CV and cover letter by 11th November; applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
