The Literature Department of the British Council works with writers and literature professionals to promote international collaboration and professional exchange. We build relationships between reading, writing and publishing communities in the UK, and those around the world.
We are looking for two outstanding individuals who can use their experience in literature project management and their network of contacts in the UK literary constituency to develop and work on international cultural relations projects.
You will have: a graduate or postgraduate qualification in literature or equivalent experience; a track record in strategic thinking and relationship management; excellent literature project management and team working skills; a good knowledge of contemporary British literature and knowledge of and contacts with the UK literature constituency; and specialist experience for each post as outlined.
