Harvill Secker and Yellow Jersey - Publicity Director (maternity cover)

• 01 February 2017

Do you have experience of promoting major crime authors? Are you a senior publicist looking to lead and develop a team?
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented publicist to oversee the Harvill Secker and Yellow Jersey PR team at VINTAGE, part of the Penguin Random House Group, on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
This role will require someone with a strong knowledge of and passion for crime fiction, who relishes the challenge of breaking new names and building brand authors. To succeed, the candidate will also have experience in strategically targeting publicity towards identified non-fiction readerships and should ideally have an interest in sport. A proven track record of delivering and leading on major promotional campaigns which effectively drive sales is essential. As you will be overseeing a team of two publicists, we are also looking for someone who has exceptional leadership skills.
If you are confident leading campaigns, can demonstrate extensive media contacts, excellent writing skills and impeccable author care, and have experience of managing or mentoring team members, then do get in touch.
