Icon Books - Assistant Editor
Icon Books is an enthusiastic independent publisher of a wide range of intelligent, general non-fiction. The small team, based close to London's King's Cross station, has an excellent opportunity for an assistant editor at this expanding independent company.
The successful candidate will ideally have 1–2 years' editorial experience, as the job will involve project managing, copy-editing, proofing, liaising with authors and external suppliers, and control of cover production. Also essential are an eye for detail, strong organisational skills, an excellent grasp of written English and a rigorous, self-motivated approach to meeting deadlines and managing schedules.Salary: dependent on experience
