SF author's latest is set during a lethal road race

Ian Whates at NewCon Press has signed non-exclusive, world English hardback rights in The Devil's Road, a novella by Gary Gibson, for publication in March 2020. The agent was John Jarrold.

Gibson has described the novella as Pacific Rim meets Fast and Furious. It concerns an ex-con, a woman called Dutch McGuire, taking part in a road race during which, if the monsters lurking round the course don't kill you, your competitors probably will.

Gary Gibson is the author of 13 books, the first 10 of which were published by Pan Macmillan.
