For an essay on a technological theme
Exisle Publishing (UK distribution by Quarto) has launched a writing competition, inviting entrants to tackle the theme "When the Machine Arrived". The word limit is 1,500.
Entry - by 30 March - is free of charge. The first prize is £750/$1,000.
