$50,000 for a work of Arabic fiction
The International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF), which last week announced its 2021 shortlist, has opened submissions for the 2022 prize. The deadline is 30 June.
The prize is worth $10,000 each to shortlisted authors, and a further $50,000 to the winner. It is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, under the umbrella of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, and is mentored by the Booker Prize Foundation in London.
