Deadline for £30,000 award is 20 August
The organisers of the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award have put out a last call for entries. They have received 75 titles so far. The award gives £30,000 to the winner, and £3,000 to each shortlisted author.
The deadline is Friday 20 August. The longlist will be announced in September, the shortlist in October, and the winner in December.
Alyson Rudd chairs the judges, who are Clarke Carlisle, Dame Katherine Grainger, John Inverdale, Danny Kelly, and Mark Lawson.
The 2020 winner was The Rodchenkov Affair by Dr Grigory Rodchenkov (WH Allen).
